I'm a dad and lifelong student of capital allocation who believes one of our most important responsibilities is learning how to allocate life's resources wisely.
Most people think of capital as money. I think it's much broader than that. Our time, attention, energy, relationships, knowledge, character, and financial resources are all forms of capital. The quality of our lives is largely determined by how we invest them.
As I watched my little ones grow, I kept asking myself: how do you teach concepts like saving, investing, patience, and good decision-making to a three-year-old? How do you introduce the foundations of wise capital allocation before a child even starts school?
So I started telling stories.
Simple stories with lovable characters and timeless lessons about patience, curiosity, delayed gratification, and independent thinking. My kids loved them. They asked for them again and again, and slowly the big ideas began to stick.
I've spent years studying value investing and the wisdom of Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger. Their lessons extend far beyond finance — they teach rational thinking, lifelong learning, integrity, and better decision-making.
This app is my tribute to Buffett and Munger, whose ideas profoundly shaped how I see the world. Charlie the Wise Bear is inspired by Charlie Munger, and his lessons are woven throughout these stories.
Little Investors is my way of sharing these ideas with families everywhere. My hope is that these stories help children develop not only financial literacy, but also the judgment and habits that lead to a meaningful, successful life.
The seeds we plant early often grow into the strongest trees. I hope these stories plant those seeds in your little ones, just as I wanted to plant them in mine. 🌱
